I find it looking quite promising so far; the gameplay appears appealing and there are several engaging modes, especially the 100 player one. It seems to support crossplay between PC and console, though that might be problematic for console players if they can't disable it. As a newcomer to CoD titles, this could be an excellent entry point. Although the monetization strategy hasn't been disclosed yet, I worry it might quickly diminish enthusiasm. Also, there are no preorders available.

My perspective? I don’t think I’ll ever match the quality of MW1 or 2. They’ve exploited the modern warfare series so much that it feels like they always release the same game each year... And they’ve introduced loot boxes too. Back when we could unlock everything by leveling up and finishing challenges, that’s what mattered. No thanks.

It appears to have a compelling exterior design. I'll need to observe how the post-launch strategy unfolds. Their customization options seem quite extensive, though I wonder if most items will be available through loot systems. The new engine looks impressive for a CoD title—it's still not on par with top competitors, but it represents a significant upgrade over Battlefield 4. As someone who enjoys competitive matches, the 20v20 and large-scale modes really excite me. Compared to Battlefield 5, which seems to lack direction, this could be a refreshing change. My last experience was with Warcraft II, and it was quite enjoyable. If MW2019 delivers engaging gameplay, meaningful customization, and fair monetization, it could draw many Battlefield enthusiasts.

It seems most excitement comes from players who fight in the battlefield after playing BF5. The gunsmith mode also looks really appealing for customization.

Honestly, I’m still not sure. It seems a bit different, but it’s clearly just more of the content we already understand. I’m mainly focused on the campaign, and the story looks like it could be quite enjoyable.

Shows interest solely in the campaign mode. If they achieve what early titles did, it would indicate success. A narrative comparable to Black Ops 2—featuring parallel stories, alternate endings, and numerous choices—would be ideal. However, I believe Black Ops 2 will stand out as a unique case, with MW1 and WaW representing the pinnacle of COD storytelling. Still, I’m uncertain about their future direction. It’s a challenging endeavor, especially given the current state of the COD franchise. WWII was attempted but ultimately fell short due to unclear goals about whether to pursue a classic or modern approach. Black Ops 3’s failure led to Black Ops 4 abandoning the series. I haven’t played Infinite Warfare, so I’m unsure of Infinity Ward’s recent performance. Yet, the decision to reboot Modern Warfare rather than launch a new series seems discouraging. Nonetheless, having thoroughly appreciated all Call of Duty games up to Black Ops 2 (excluding MW3), I’d be genuinely pleased if Infinity Ward could deliver a strong comeback.
