I have trouble connecting to specific online pages.
You're facing issues accessing websites like GitHub despite resolving common settings. The Beammp mod causing HTTP GET failures might be affecting your connection. Try checking if the mod is active or consider switching to a different network or device for testing.
I noticed a similar issue when an IPv6 carrier directs all their IPv4 traffic through a CNGAT server and it fails. Check if you can access IPv6 sites alone or still connect to IPv4. Or visit https://ipv6-test.com/
Have you explored using a different web browser? It might be related to network configuration issues on your system. Does this issue appear across various websites or only on certain ones?
Check if it’s accessing a shared network such as a school connection. Have another device available for testing, or use hotspot functionality on your phone.
Consider checking your hosts file at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts. Ensure there are no unusual entries for github.com or beammp.com. (Instructions to open Notepad with admin rights.) You might want to switch to a different DNS provider like cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 dns at https://1.1.1.1/dns/ (see instructions for Windows)
I attempted that but it didn't function properly. The issue seems to occur on certain sites, not just a general website. The HTTP error appeared in the app rather than a browser.
I'm using my own network but haven't tried hotspotting it yet. I'll try soon.
