I usually play late since the pre-release and post-release buzz often hides how solid a game is. I favor a straightforward take on whether it matches my taste. That’s why I started with Starbound only recently. There are several questions I can’t find answers for using Google. Maybe someone with more experience knows? Should I try admin codes? 2: Can I avoid getting caught by extremely high-tier enemies? I’ve managed to hide under them and surround them with dirt (after they killed me, of course). I even took one down because he lacked ranged weapons—he was much stronger. My only effective weapon was a hunting bow at full draw, which did less than a quarter damage but could take many arrows. It wasn’t an exciting mission. Another one is encased, and she has followers in hooded robes that seem to teleport or vanish, and she wields a ranged weapon so I can limit her movement but not deal much damage. Overall, it feels repetitive. I thought the planet was tier 2, but it turns out it’s higher. I collected many quests in the village, including at least one broken one (not from losing all items). Anyone have tips? Edited February 9, 2021 by Bombastinator
