I’m experiencing this unusual issue where the audio vanishes or gets suppressed, then suddenly resumes with all sounds at once. This also happens with certain models—like missing a shield battery during charging or not seeing the weapon model. The problem is clear in this video:

I’m playing Apex Legends on Steam, and I’ve noticed the same behavior in Rainbow Six Siege too. My setup includes:
Intel i7-4771, GTX 1660 Ti, 16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz
What I’ve tried so far:
- Closed all other programs
- Confirmed game cache integrity
- Reinstalled a fresh clean Windows version
- Played on Origin instead of Steam
- Ran chkdsk on my hard drive (no errors found)
This bug started randomly a few days ago, and before that I was playing without issues.
Anyone have any suggestions or help?

Consider visiting this website and utilizing the latency monitor tool in the background during gameplay. It will identify any issues. After finishing the game, return to the program to check for reported driver problems.

No, I didn't update any drivers; it happened unexpectedly. After trying to update later, the issue persisted. Reinstalling Windows and using the older driver didn't resolve the problem.

My current preset matches the existing one, but the issue remains unresolved. The graphics card is set to high performance in the Nvidia control panel.
