I've got a Mini 9 with some limitations. The CPU is only 32-bit and the SSD is outdated. Your Mini 10 would be better suited, and the N450's 64-bit instruction set is an upgrade over the N270 in my Mini 9. I've experimented with Puppy Linux on my Mini 9—it runs okay but feels slow for modern web browsing. MAME works well, though mostly for older games. People say it's not worth investing in unless you have a cheap SSD. If you need to spend money, it's probably not worth it. Consider using an old SSD if possible.
