Hello, I understand your issue. Recently, your internet provider replaced the router and reset the fiber box at our location. Since then, I’ve been unable to access the Steam game "Rust" server list. My system loses connection for 3-4 minutes, but I can still chat in Discord without losing my existing connections. New connections also drop for a similar duration. I've tried several solutions: reinstalling Rust, enabling it through Windows Firewall, restarting the router and fiber box, limiting Steam's bandwidth, and updating all software. I even tested on a 4G hotspot outside our Wi-Fi—it worked perfectly. My router is an iConnectera i4850 with an Ethernet cable. I’m hoping someone can help me resolve this.

Your equipment has been swapped. It seems like a port forwarding problem. Search online for guidance on resolving it

It looks like your internet service provider might be able to assist. Is this the same device you used previously? You may need to set it up first so your computer can connect correctly. It could have a built-in firewall or quality-of-service features—try turning them off temporarily.

Are you using a router and do you require NAT and port forwarding? I suspect it’s unnecessary unless you’re running a game. For testing, try a VPN temporarily—if it functions, the issue likely lies with your modem or internet service provider.
