I used to have a 60Hz 1440p display and then upgraded to a 144Hz 1080p one. Now I'm stuck unless it's 1440 144Hz again. It's really costly and I don’t have enough power for it.

You might likely get a new upgrade next year, honestly.

1080 provides smooth performance at 1440fps when playing in high settings across many titles. My 2080 stays around 150fps on Ultra, while RTX games typically drop to 30-40fps.

I'm experiencing some lag on my GTX1080 Mini. I plan to upgrade to a 2080 soon, but my 1070 was performing better before.

Sure, but it means getting a new CPU, GPU, and a laptop. It might drop a few hundred dollars, right? They usually cost around $1200 or more, and I haven’t spent that much before.

I’d be happy to purchase that too—it’s my favorite cooler, and I’ve got the ROG 1070.
