Enable XMP or memory OC in BIOS which handles this automatically. If you do it manually, you must adjust the memory speed, voltage, timings, and sub timings—it’s not perfect. That’s why I recommend using the XMP setting in your motherboard’s BIOS.

Assuming BIOS and all drivers are current. Which PSU are you using? Try swapping RAM sticks one at a time to determine if the problem lies with a specific stick. If it persists, the issue may not be the RAM itself, but another component.

The DRAM voltage is configured in the BIOS, typically starting at 1.2V. You can manually adjust it to 1.4V and test booting with the XMP profile active.

I'm experiencing a problem where my 3200MHz RAM is running at 2400MHz. It seems fine, but changing the BIOS settings to adjust the frequency isn't working. Even when I set it to 2666MHz, the system shuts down. I don’t think there’s a hardware issue since I can play games and the PC works normally. My BIOS is up-to-date, and I’m not using XMP or DOCP. How should I fix this? Please advise!

I adjusted it to 1.36V and everything matches, so a 1.4V should probably be fine.
