I purchased my latest computer in May of 2018. The graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti, and the processor is an Intel Core i3-7100 at 3.9GHz. While playing Fortnite, I consistently observe frame rates between 70 and 80+, yet the gameplay remains jerky and unresponsive. This issue began approximately two to three months after acquiring my PC; prior to that, performance was satisfactory. My companions do not experience similar difficulties. I’ve attempted numerous troubleshooting steps without success. My display is a Full HD monitor with a 5ms response time and a 60Hz refresh rate. Experimenting with lowering the resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x1024 via the Nvidia Control Panel, allowing me to adjust the refresh rate to 75Hz, resulted in improved performance when set to WindowedFullscreen mode within Fortnite. However, it continues to operate suboptimally at a standard 1920x1080 resolution and 60Hz. I would greatly appreciate any potential solutions you might offer. Thank you!

If your display’s refresh rate is 60Hz, motion won't appear fluid when displayed at a higher rate, potentially causing distracting flickering. Enable vertical synchronization.

I successfully increased my monitor’s refresh rate to 75Hz, which resolved the issue. Limiting Fortnite’s frame rate to 75fps has now fixed everything. I appreciate your assistance!
