I don’t have access to that link. Could you share more details or the content you’re referring to?

There are also fully compatible options that follow a similar approach for a $40 cost.

The M.2 slot on a desktop motherboard isn’t compatible with a Key E A plugin, since it’s designed for laptops. There’s also no adapter available to connect an M.2 to the laptop side. Edit: I was able to locate one.

I had never encountered it; the device I needed was Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6.

Typically, people advise against the "Killer" cards, noting they're just a bit of outdated software that usually creates more issues than it helps. The card I mentioned is the same except it's not the Killer version.

You might need to adhere to the guidance provided earlier to turn off your on-board Bluetooth via Device Manager, preferably before installing the device. Doing so will improve the Bluetooth range using that antenna, which is beneficial since I already have a comparable antenna on my motherboard WiFi that successfully transmits high-speed Bluetooth audio through a wall.

I've attempted everything I can do to turn it off, but it keeps resetting no matter which other device you connect.

I think you're wondering if the motherboard isn't really hiding an M.2 card inside the VRM heatsink, which is a common setup for many built-in WiFi modules.
