I encountered an issue with my MSI B450-a Pro MAX Ryzen 3600 G. The RAM is running at 3600 MHz instead of the expected 3000, and I can’t boot into BIOS. The screen goes black. I’ve moved the sticks around and removed the CMOS battery, but it’s still not working. Did something go wrong or can I fix it?
I just realized it might help to step it out for a minute and that worked. Thanks!
If nothing else works, consider flashing the BIOS this way. Great that it’s now functioning.
On boards lacking a distinct CMOS button, I typically secure the exposed terminals using a screwdriver after taking the battery out.
