It was just a single occurrence, wasn't it?

They're performing this action immediately, and it's happening right now. The timing was shared at 2:30 PM PST. The frequency isn't clear yet—whether daily, weekly, or less frequent. Please share any updates you discover so I can keep track. Edited January 26, 2021 by Sithtiger

I might have overlooked it, but I'll inform you once I discover another upcoming one.

Sorry, this will be the 2nd one I've entered. Hey, here's a way to increase your chances... at least I think so. So, I entered using my login and email to Newegg, but I also used my wife's too. I don't see this as illegal in any way, because she does in fact have a real account, and I'm the main person that uses the PC, so it's not a breach of confidence between us. If she should win the lottery, first she doesn't care about the CPU. I have the money, I'll just put the money in the bank if she should win. I recall then running at least two lotteries the last time. There might be another one, I'm not sure, but they do seem to run it around this time. I'm just not sure how often they do.

LOL!!! Great news! We’re excited to let you get your hands on this amazing processor. But hurry—other people might snag it too if you wait too long! 😅 Oh no, I forgot to check my email for days… it’s gone! Total disaster!

OMG, I forgot it. I was really close. People who just keep trying but don’t win should get a chance to improve, and if they keep coming in, we might finally come out on top. I think that’s reasonable. I’m talking about achieving success once, not multiple times. Maybe after a while (if this frustrating CPU/GPU situation continues) they could pull off another win.

You really came through with the win, but you didn’t review your inbox! That would’ve been frustrating. There’s no guarantee anyone here will win, so I’m tempted to pay the extra $100 for this item. If I did, I’d miss out on getting the Noctua HSF. How often do people enter ShrimpBrime? I’d love to see how many wins there are and how long it usually takes.

I was joking around with Newegg earlier. I own a 2700X, an 8700K, and other older components. I’m holding off on buying new until DDR5 becomes common on desktops unless I find a cheap used chip. The issue is that I’ve damaged many of my chips, and a $300 or $500 upgrade isn’t always exciting. Even with a solid success rate, I’m sure I’ll eventually replace something.
