This game is usually pretty slow and not very well tuned, honestly speaking. My computer setup isn't even that powerful: I have a Ryzen 5 1600X processor, 16GB of RAM running at 3200Mhz, and an RX 570 graphics card (with only 4GB). Even if I lower the screen resolution to 720p and turn everything off in the game, it still crashes. My friends with better GPUs like a Radeon RX 580 don't have this problem at all. It's so annoying because it happens every time we fight. The game runs on my solid-state drive (SSD) which is fast and reliable. I haven't tried swapping the drive yet but I'm pretty sure that won't fix the issue. Honestly, I really don't know why this is happening. Maybe it's the RAM causing it, but I have no idea how to check for it because all my tests look fine in the computer store.
Since Escape from Tarkov is still in Early Access, maybe the developers haven't made it ready for an RX 570 card yet? That's why your PC gets lags and stuttering while the GTX 1500 TI or even an RX 580 works fine. Overall, if you test your computer (like with Unigine Superposition) or play other games without any problems elsewhere, then this specific game is likely causing the issue. With that in mind, I recommend checking out this support page: https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/support/knowledge/428 And there are also other posts on there that might help solve your problem. By the way, the official Escape from Tarkov forums would be a better place to post about this issue.
Yep, you're right. It might also be about drivers and switching; fixing those could work. But AMD always manages to <Mod Edit> something up with their newest stuff for me. Thanks for the tips—I'll post on EFT forums too. I should have done that first.
