I noticed some unwanted ads popping up on Google Chrome. No extensions installed, settings restored, and suspicious items removed. Still seeing this everywhere, including affecting my font settings. Need assistance fixing this issue.

Download and install Malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org. Then, download and run Hitman Pro—it's not free software, though you can try it for 30 days. It scans very fast and uses many antivirus engines. I also suggest using ADW cleaner, even though it might trigger false positives with some antivirus programs.

Consider using Malwarebytes. It’s likely you have a PUP—potentially unwanted program. This can introduce bothersome adware into your browsers. While PUP isn’t technically malware or a virus, it may still interfere by preventing certain websites from loading.

Verify your applications in the management interface if needed. You might have to remove it from there. Additionally, ensure the homepage link hasn’t been altered in Chrome settings if malware appears when opening Chrome.

Many experts suggest using Malware Bytes (malwarebytes.org). It might require several scans before the issue is resolved. Remove all extensions and inspect your control panel for any suspicious programs. If the problem continues, try disabling extensions in your boot menu or startup settings. Good luck!

Ensure the default home page settings are correct. Examine the shortcut icon's properties and delete any text added afterward. Uninstall the adware from program and features, then use MalwareScan and reinstall Chrome.

CCleaner has cleared something Malware Bytes couldn't handle for over 30 minutes ago. I suggest you try it first. You can test the software with all its features and use the latest version. I don’t know how long the trial lasts, but I’m glad I found CCleaner.
