Here’s a rewritten version of the text, using different words and phrasing:

I’m troubleshooting some performance issues on my gaming setup and need advice. Currently, I'm running a 1440p 144Hz monitor and exploring the possibility of upgrading to a 1080p 240Hz display – specifically testing with an older, inexpensive 1080p 60Hz monitor to gauge potential framerates. In games like Apex Legends and PUBG (using ultra settings for PUBG and medium settings without shadows on Apex), I’m achieving approximately 85-100 frames per second. This seems significantly lower than what I anticipated given my GPU's capabilities, particularly considering a $700 graphics card should deliver nearly double this performance. I recently performed a factory reset and wiped all drives hoping to improve speeds, but the results were minimal. I’m seeking insights into potential causes for these low framerates or if there might be specific issues related to my hardware components. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Data suggests a significant number of CPU cores are currently at 100% utilization. This indicates an intensive workload or insufficient processing power to handle the current demands.

```json
{
"status": "critical",
"cpu_utilization": {
"core_count": 8,
"percentage": 100
},
"recommendations": [
"Investigate the cause of high CPU utilization.",
"Consider upgrading to a system with more processing power or cores.",
"Optimize the application's resource usage."
Here’s a rewritten version of the text, aiming for clarity and flow:
“This document outlines several methods for monitoring CPU utilization. The provided examples demonstrate varying degrees of accuracy, ranging from 25-35% reported across multiple systems. Another user noted GPU usage around 50-70%, even when utilizing maximum performance settings. It’s important to consider that these measurements fluctuate and depend on the specific workload.”
Here’s a rewritten version of your text, focusing on clarity and addressing your concerns:
You're experiencing inconsistent frame rates in games, with drops to around 100-110 fps in demanding situations like League of Legends. This seems counterintuitive given the high GPU usage you’re seeing (25-35%) when it should be closer to 100% for maximum performance. Your GPU temperature is a healthy 72°C, and you've ruled out CPU bottlenecks.
Here’s what might be happening:
* **Driver Issues:** Outdated or incorrect graphics drivers can cause significant performance problems. Ensure you are using the latest drivers specifically designed for your Nvidia/AMD card and operating system.
* **Background Processes:** Other applications running in the background could be consuming GPU resources, preventing your game from utilizing them fully. Close unnecessary programs during gameplay.
* **Game Settings Conflicts:** While you've set your 3D settings to maximum performance, some games have specific settings that can override these. Check for recommended or optimized graphics settings within the game itself. Some games prioritize CPU over GPU, especially at lower resolutions.
* **DirectX Version:** Some older games might perform better with a different DirectX version. Experimenting with different versions (if supported) could help.
* **V-Sync Issues**: Verify Vsync is enabled or disabled for optimal performance.
Here’s a rewritten version of your text, aiming for clarity and conciseness:
“I’m experiencing inconsistent frame rates in games, with drops to around 100-110 FPS on demanding titles like League of Legends. Despite setting graphics settings to maximum performance, my GPU usage is often low (25-35%) while the game’s frame rate fluctuates. My GPU temperature remains consistently below 72°C, and I don't observe any CPU bottlenecks. I suspect there might be an issue with how my system recognizes or utilizes my graphics card's full potential. Could you advise on steps to ensure optimal GPU performance?”
Use a program like MSIAfterburner to monitor everything including all cpu cores/threads. Total cpu usage doesn’t tell you much, it only takes 1 core hitting 100% to limit performance.
