Sharing personal thoughts on UI design preferences without focusing on a single product. If you're curious about styles like tile-based layouts, let me know why you like them. I'm interested in broader trends beyond specific interfaces.

Metro has some interesting qualities. iOS feels strong yet quite unexciting. Material Design seems oddly mismatched for my taste. LG UX 4.0 and the fresh TouchWiz style stand out more. Don’t give up. If you’re focusing on productivity, Metro and Material Design really shine because customizing the interface is essential.

It seems you're the only one who dislikes material design. Really, not just a preference—you actively avoid it. I especially dislike Android's recent changes; I prefer older interfaces and strongly dislike those new navigation buttons. I also thought the Metro UI worked well on tablets, even though I don't use it much with a mouse and keyboard.
