I just began revisiting Fallout 4, and there are plenty of mods out there. People often choose different ones based on their preferences for gameplay, visual style, or content updates.
It's not great. Comparable to having two boyfriends. #Battlefront4eva origindestiny2
It also brought a sense of fun about heading out to gather items: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21872/?
For me, this is my fourth time playing: the Raider overhaul plus Super Mutant Redux with even deadlier deathclaws make even the usual foes more intense (though harder).
My preferences: I enjoy survival mode but like to pause whenever I feel like it and tweak the settings.
Customization options: Armorsmith extended and legendary upgrades let you personalize your gear.
Extra perks: Check out Fusion City Rising, Outcasts & Remnants, and 50 ways to die at Dr. Nicks.
Armorsmith extended and Legendary modifications: so you can have more customization Legendary Modifications: Have a additional legendary mod slot on most items. Space Marine and Relic Space Marine Armor and weapons: Because I find the in game armors kinda boring and I wanted some flare so now the wasteland as a Ultramarine running around killing Mutants, Abominable Intelligence's, Herteks, Heretics, and protecting various settlements from problems that really they should be able to deal with on their own. Of course this is all in the name of the Holy Man-Emperor of Mankind. Cheat_Menu.exe: Great for getting crafting materials Cheat Terminal: Great for getting everything but crafting materials (Interface takes too long to navigate in this regard) True Storms: More intense weather, weather effects (Rad storms are now serious) and overall weather visuals. Mod Control Menu (MCM): Just released but hopefully this is a sign that we can see bigger more complex mods coming out soon. There are far more but these are my go to mods. Honestly though while MCM got me to come back to Fallout 4, the mod scene honestly is still a mess and hasn't I feel gotten its stride yet. There are some really good mods out there but it takes a lot of filtering to find them. I think that once I actually finish the main quest for change in my current play through I won't pick up the game for 6-12 months because honestly this doesn't have the mod appeal that Skyrim and New Vegas have for me at least. Three ideas I recently considered: Elys's Settlement Build Size lets you grow your settlement boundaries but be cautious with large ones as performance may slow down. All In One Settlement offers a single item that supplies power, food, water, beds, and defense—perfect for creating a functional base without overbuilding. Settlement Management Software provides a build-capable terminal to assign settlers to tasks efficiently, eliminating the need to construct a town bell or waste time coordinating manually.
