I switched to a 10700f and tested it on my PC. It runs smoothly in Task Manager, but USB ports keep switching on and off. I also notice game stutters and very low frame rates. This wasn’t a problem with my old CPU. Could something be affecting the USB connections or power delivery?

Check if you're running the newest BIOS and select the appropriate CPU cooler.

I'm testing the Noctua Redux Uhs12 with F4a. It works well with other CPUs too.

It seems to function properly now. That’s usually normal.

I opened my PC from sleep and noticed the USB ports intermittently losing power. Could you suggest possible causes?

Check the cooler settings and ensure it isn't too tight. If needed, disable USB power-saving options in the BIOS. Use hwinfo to monitor frequencies and temperatures during gaming.

It's doable your motherboard might struggle with newer components even if you have a stronger CPU.

The USB ports may experience intermittent behavior during startup, turning on briefly and then resetting. This could indicate a temporary power or communication issue.

The USB connections don’t turn off anymore, but the system starts slower and I’ve seen repair alerts.
