when you play a game and quickly flick your mouse, it seems to freeze just like in the Engle game where the character stays in place while the game continues, but when you move the mouse normally, everything works fine.

Yes, the drivers are current.
The game is set up.
The cursor behaves as if it's moving quickly, staying in place when I press it.

Check the built-in Windows troubleshooters. They might detect and resolve issues. Also execute "dism" and "sfc /scannow".
