Have you considered checking the compatibility of your current drivers with your operating system? It might help to try using a different version or version manager. Also, ensure that your network adapter is properly installed and configured in Windows settings.

It relies on your objective. Do you just want to stop Windows Driver updates, or do you aim to use the latest drivers? Is the network card part of your motherboard?

It's included in the MSI Tomahawk z590 motherboard. I'm not concerned about the repair method as long as it works. I'll go with the simplest solution available.

If the motherboard's Ethernet is not working, you have several alternatives. Turn off automatic Windows driver updates, use a USB Ethernet adapter, or opt for a PCIe Ethernet adapter. These are typically the only solutions besides swapping the motherboard.

My findings suggest the issue isn't with the adapter itself, but with its design—probably very unreliable. I might eventually need an Ethernet card instead.
