You can move only the operating system from your HDD to the SSD using a bootable USB drive. Then reinstall Windows 7 there while keeping your games and other files on the original HDD.

You can get a Windows copy from Microsoft's site and use the activation key to start it.

Using the ISO directly doesn’t carry any pirate connotations. Whether you get it from a questionable site or from Microsoft itself doesn’t matter. A legitimate ISO is safe. If you install it improperly, it becomes piracy and breaches the COC. But as long as you activate it legally, there’s no problem. This works because the TS already contains a key.

I possess the key. It came from an old Acer I owned. I don’t have a CD; I have a USB drive with the image, but I’m unsure what to do next.
