In short, your router (TP Link Archer C5) isn’t allowing proper port forwarding because your ISP assigned it a private IP. I’ve noticed some folks online mention VPNs can help, but it’s hard to find ones that work with routers that have private IPs. If you know of a VPN that supports this setup, let me know. Otherwise, there might be alternative ways to forward ports even with a private IP.

The article mentions several VPN options but its details may be simplified or promotional. For setup, you could lease an online server and configure your own VPN or use an SSH tunnel. You’d then redirect incoming connections to your computer, which demands some networking expertise.
