I recently purchased two monitors and found that only one is functioning properly. My PC has a GTX 1650 which claims support for three monitors, requiring two display ports and an HDMI connection. I’m unsure what the other port connects to, so I’m testing both HMDI cables. I connected one to my graphics card and the other to another port, but it didn’t work. I also have a Core i5 processor. Someone could explain this situation and help me avoid losing my investment.

You may need to: 1.) Turn on the built-in graphics in your BIOS settings and then set up the appropriate drivers, or 2.) If you have an i5 processor without integrated graphics, it won't function.

Did you link a second monitor to the main board? The i5’s IGPU will shut down if a GPU is connected. You’ll need a display port cable to attach the second screen to the GPU, allowing you to set up a dual-screen configuration.

You could use a similar link format, like the one provided on Amazon.

Looking for a modern 1.4 dp port cable instead of an older one?

Thanks in advance, I just placed an order for a cable and am really looking forward to assembling my setup!
