Hello, in August I experienced internet issues and discovered my IP was blacklisted because of spam and dictionary attacks. After investigating, I performed thorough scans using Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, removing any detected threats. I also scanned two Android devices, which showed no infections. Despite these steps, my IP continues to send spam without dictionary attack activity. I have changed my router’s Wi-Fi and updated its firmware (TP-Link Wireless N Router WR840N). Please help me, I’m really worried. I’ve blocked port 25 with the firewall, but I’m not sure it helped.

Access your router's firmware and check all linked devices. Ensure no unauthorized "Other devices" are attached.

It's likely your PC is heavily compromised, so you may need to completely remove the Windows installation.

In theory, it could go even further. Some malware stays hidden within the motherboard components and simply reappears. This happens infrequently.

I've completed that task and checked for additional devices.

If it's a malware hiding on your motherboard, you may need to update your system or perform a factory reset to remove it.

It would be great if I could switch my internet provider; I don’t have any other options nearby.
