I verified it remains active, usually I enable this during a new system startup. It's a good idea to double-check other settings too.

It was just a light-hearted comment. I was suggesting you conceal the folders and ignore them. I need to rest now. I might reconsider it tomorrow.

There seems to be a specific concern about storage space and folder management. Empty folders use minimal space, but you still choose where to download files. With smaller SSDs, having duplicate folder names on different drives made it easy to switch drives during installation. The Program Files folder is treated as a system directory, so Windows can regenerate it if it's missing.
