Hello, I'm seeking assistance regarding an issue with my headphones. There is no sound output from them. I've completed all standard steps: first, I installed the drivers but it didn't help. Then I used a troubleshooter which resolved the problem. After that, I tried connecting them to the front jacks but they weren't detected. I updated the drivers without success. I also checked the Realtek audio console and turned off front panel jack detection, which allowed access to the connectors.

When plugging in the headphones, no notification appears indicating a new device was connected. In the settings, when selecting a device, I see options like ‘amd high definition ...’ and ‘Realtek HD AUDIO 2nd OUTPUT’, which correspond to my front connector.

However, once connected, I still don't hear any sound through the headphones or the screen. To get audio, I must select the speaker on the screen, but if I connect it to the audio socket on the back of my device, it works—but I'm concerned about missing the microphone input. I've just installed Windows 11.

I'm hoping you can help me, as I've tried reinstalling drivers multiple times, reinstalled old ones, and used the problem solver several times, but I'm unsure what to do next.

Maybe the plug isn't firmly connected to the front panel?
Try reinstalling Realtek drivers directly from Realtek.
Are you getting sound and microphone from the back, or not?
I'm confused about this.
If I connect it into the audio socket on the back of my box, it works but I'm unsure if I can get sound or a microphone.

Thank you for your reply!
I connected my headset at the back and everything functioned correctly, with no delays. I've already reinstalled the drivers, so I'm not sure that's the issue.
Regarding the plug, it seems the front audio power cable isn't properly attached to the motherboard?

Update your message with complete hardware details and operating system information.
Visit the official manufacturer's website for the motherboard. (Ensure you're on the genuine site—avoid fake .manual pages.)
Find the relevant motherboard User Guide or Manual.
Per @helpstar, consult the manual to verify audio connections within the case and on the front panel ports.

You can also explore the driver on the MSI website:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B760...ort#driver
In the end, consider trying the Realtek Audio Console from the Microsoft store:

Regarding the driver on the MSI page, I've already downloaded and installed it, but it hasn't made any changes. Concerning the Realtek driver, there isn't a version available for Windows 11. With the Realtek Audio Console, I have already set it up on my computer. I also verified the connection of my audio cable from the front panel to the motherboard; I reinserted it in the correct position, but it still only holds very loosely. It's unusual since I can hear a faint clip—you need to push it slightly to remove it—but when I plug the headphones into the front panel, it doesn't work and isn't detected, unlike the back.

I've just attempted once more and it seems the cable isn't functioning properly... Thanks a lot for your assistance, everyone.
