Control is really good and is currently on sale on steam. Every single Mass Effect game is amazing, definitely play those in the order of release (and a remaster is coming for original trilogy soon). Alien Isolation is good (and IIRC currently free on Epic Games Store).

Tell me what kind of game you're interested in—like action, adventure, strategy, etc. Share any favorites or experiences you've had with similar games.

Do you have certain types of games in mind? Do you favor online or offline experiences? This will assist in suggesting titles you might enjoy. Right now I’m a fan of Destiny 2. It’s a bit repetitive, but the core shooter elements are excellent and keep me engaged weekly. The fact that it’s free-to-play means you won’t miss out unless you want to explore the latest updates and collect all the newest equipment.

You're starting out in Ghost Runner and have already lost 200 times. If you're getting upset easily, skip this joke—lol

I highly suggest C&C Remastered (my top pick for the year), other titles: Civilizations 6 (it pushes you past 600+ hours), Doom Eternal (first-person shooter), Cities: Skylines (for city-building enthusiasts), Elite Dangerous (space simulation), Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (the one I’m looking forward to this holiday), some Wolfenstein 2 New Colossus (FPS), Fullout 4. If you’re after something free, give World of Warship and World of Tanks a try, and for table play C&C Rivals works well. All these games are great, but I think C&C Remastered, Cities: Skylines, and Civilizations 6 offer the best balance of value and enjoyment.

I just finished Metro Exodus and it was great, definitely recommend it. Agree with Commodus, Destiny 2 is very good and is free. It's hard to give advice as it really depends what you've played. But, assuming you haven't tried anyone of them, here are a few of my personal favourites from the past few years. Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain. The Division (and the sequel) The Evil Within (one and two) Trine,Trine 2, 3, and 4. The Outer Worlds Mafia 2 and 3 (new versions) Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Breakpoint. Mostly shooters and action games, I know, but that's what I'm into.
