I'm assisting with removing outdated inventory items at my workplace and we discovered two copies that resemble Old AF Windows or similar. We don't want to open them if they hold value for resale and can't locate comparable listings online. Their records are no longer available, they're from 20 years ago, and the copyright dates back to 1998. Please help. I've searched extensively—found everything from Windows NT Server 4 to Windows CE and other Microsoft products.

There are four 3.5" floppy disks positioned behind the Manuel. It would have been better to mention that earlier.

The product key identifies the item and confirms it is unavailable.

The discomfort here would be easier to resolve if the store kept records from earlier. The label showing $99 from 1998 suggests it had value. Purchasing four floppies isn’t sufficient for anything beyond DOS, which is quite low. If it’s just a manual, the price still feels unreasonable at $99. Plus, the disks are positioned facing the back of the book, making it impossible to identify what they contain.

This document might serve as a User's Guide rather than the operating system itself. Check the COA under a light to uncover any hidden terms that indicate approval.

After further investigation and using the Google Translator, we discovered it on a Russian used book website called Antique Books. It seems to be just a user manual, not a bargain item...

DOS 5 required just two 3.5" floppies, while DOS 6 needed three. The label on the cover suggests it's Windows-related, possibly NT 4 server, but you already looked for that.
