I mistakenly added the into Firefox's built-in dictionary, and because it is a frequent typo for me, I really need to remove it so it alerts me each time. I looked in the locations Firefox uses for dictionary entries, but it doesn’t appear to be there for me. I searched my entire C drive and didn’t find anything. Is there a new location that might have changed since the sites I saw posted about the persdict file? And just to be sure, I have enabled "View Hidden Files," so it can’t be that.

Is there another possibility? I didn’t mean to include any extra words, but last night when I hated the sound and it caught, my mouse hand twitched slightly as I released the button for "add to dictionary." Now it doesn’t highlight when I type it. Still, no persdict.dat.

The misspelled word was likely "and," and the correct spelling is "and." It might be hidden in files or folders.
