It's mainly about placing many small antennas throughout your house to improve signal strength. I don't understand why anyone would recommend this when it's outside a £60 budget.

Being close to the router provides 110Mbps and a 10 Mbps upload speed. We were advised to switch to our 2G connection for better range. On my 2G Wi-Fi, the ping is 23 ms, download speed is 31.57 Mbps, upload speed is 6.53 Mbps.

It's frustrating to have to pay 6 megabytes just to watch, especially when you're getting it close to the router. Any slowdowns might make your stream lag or stop completely. It could really be a problem if you're not paying attention.

Close to the router I experience about 10 upload speed. This connection is only in the farthest room.
