I do not feel like my computer is running as fast as it used to be.
Hey everyone! I bought this laptop for only 80 euros and don't expect it to be amazing, but the specs are okay enough to play CS:GO. After looking at some websites about how many frames per second my CPU and GPU can handle, it said I could get around 150 fps on low settings here: https://howmanyfps.com/processors/amd-a4-6210 But even with that promise, I only get about 30 fps and there are way too many drops. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite l50d-b-13x. It has an AMD A4-6210 processor and integrated graphics (Radeon R3) plus an R5 m230 card for the GPU. I added a 18GB stick of RAM from Crucial, which runs on DDR3L at 1600mhz speed, but my SSD upgrade to an MX500 also didn't really help much because it wasn't that important. I changed the thermal paste and installed an operating system version named OS 11 (even though this computer can't support TPM 2.0). So I'm asking you guys if my laptop is just a bad potato or if something is actually broken there too. Also, sorry, I don't speak English very well in English.
It's a pity, but your processor isn't even like a small potato. The performance on just one thread is terrible, and that exactly what CSGO needs most: run the cpu-Z test and check the single thread rating. You'll see about 105 there. That score is off the charts low.
Sad to say, your processor isn't even a tiny potato. It's really slow for one thing at a time, and that's exactly what CSGO needs most. Please check this link: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu...PU&id=2307 Go run the cpu-Z test and look at the single thread score you should see around 105. That is very low compared to what it needs.
