I bought this laptop during the sale price of $1100 CAD. It arrived today and I’m not happy with it at all – the thick bezels, the light bleed from the LEDs under the keyboard, and the odd position of the power cord are a few issues. Since I can return it without cost, I think I’ll do that. I’d appreciate your advice for my next purchase.

Regarding the notebook size, I’m open to any option, but I prefer something with a Number Pad or Full Keyboard, so probably a model with a 15.5-inch or larger size.
For screen resolution, I’m fine with FHD, as long as it looks good.
Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Both – I mainly use a docked setup with a 4K monitor, but I’ll also move it around.
Battery life isn’t a big concern for me.
If you’re interested in playing games, please list the ones you’d like and the settings you prefer (Low, Medium, or High).
Other tasks I’d like to handle with my laptop include photo/video editing, etc. A dedicated GPU is nice but not essential.
Storage preference: an SSD is fine, no specific capacity needed.

I’m considering Canada as my location.
Additional notes: I really like thin bezels, though they’re not a dealbreaker. I also prefer fingerprint or IR camera login for convenience.
