After updating my game and messing with the mods, I decided to stop everything. I started playing online, but something went wrong—my car doors, boot, and hood kept opening and closing. I blew up, then everyone else did too. It said I was the hacker and handed me all the negative stuff. My money and guns were taken away, and all my weapons were given to me plus $1,000. Sorry for trying, it’s a shame. I’m sure they’ll ban me soon.

Hackers can make it look like you have killed the whole server happened to me yesterday and nothing you can do about it. Honestly, just do a fresh install of the game.

Rockstar hasn't added any anti-cheat features yet. GTA4 seems to have better protection against cheating. Don't worry about getting banned—modders can earn money for you.

It would only take me around 20 minutes, but it doesn’t matter. I won’t play online anymore, so better focus on getting back into single-player modding.

They can just grab your cash and weapons at any moment. That’s never happened before. Apart from the odd character appearing with bags full of money or firing a powerful weapon while untouchable, I haven’t encountered any real hacking attempts.
