It might have resolved another problem the machine was facing. Changing from 2400 to 3200 even with full linear scaling would only represent a 25% boost in ram speed, not a complete improvement. Likely it addressed a different issue that needed attention.

It shouldn't significantly impact performance, yet I'm pleased to notice your progress. Typically disabling XMP is what resolves stuttering issues, lmao
