I changed from CSM to UEFI in my BIOS (B450 Tomahawk max) and now it starts directly into the BIOS instead of Windows. I have a Windows drive that worked before, but now it doesn’t.

You're using an older Windows installation that doesn't support UEFI, revert to CSM mode.

Reinstall the hard drive physically, ensuring both power and SATA connectors are fully connected. Then enter BIOS settings and verify the boot order; if the new drive appears at the top, it won't start.

I believe the drive is damaged, I was able to start it after connecting it, but the health check showed issues and it was overheating more than normal.
