I've been having trouble playing some games lately, like r6s or gta 5. I just try connecting but it keeps failing even when I launch them and get error messages. When I ask rockstar support, they tell me ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. I tried restarting my router, fixing the pc, reinstalling everything, changing dns settings, adapter settings, windows diagnose systems, but nothing works yet. My friend who lives a bit further away has no problems even though we use the same internet provider. Only when I turn on a vpn can i connect to sites/launchers. Any ideas?

Have you checked your computer for viruses recently? Are you having trouble reaching some websites?

You can try turning off IPv6. Then you can run a traceroute to that spot and check where it stops working.
