Hello, thank you for taking the time to read. Borderlands 2 is causing issues on my new machine. I installed it last week and have played it multiple times with maximum settings on a 5760x1080 display, maintaining a stable frame rate each run. But now it’s not functioning properly. After launching, clicking "continue" freezes at the first frame of the purple tunnel you see during spawn or respawn. I reinstalled the game and it worked perfectly afterward. I closed it down, saved it, and exited to the main menu, then left through the menu options. When I tried to restart it, it still froze as soon as my character loaded. This has happened five times, and I’ve adjusted settings like surround sound, limited to one monitor, windowed mode, 1360x768 resolution, and low performance mode. Despite these changes, the problem persists. I’m reinstalling it again because the integrity check said one file couldn’t be verified and needed re-download. I’ve searched online, tried running "borderlands.exe" instead of Steam or "launcher.exe," and even updated the Nvidia driver. Help is needed!
