I can't find the right version of my drivers on this computer.
I have been trying for days to download my drivers for my RTX 2070. After resetting my BIOS to remove a password that worked before, my motherboard still won't see my graphics card (RTX 2070). I checked Device Manager and it's missing, too. I've tried downloading drivers manually and from the GeForce app. Even though I downloaded a new BIOS for my GPU, nothing works right now.
SOLVED. I just needed to fix my computer by going to that link and clicking the button. But when I restarted, it looked like it added an outdated patch.
The fans in my RTX 2070 are spinning a lot. I'm pretty sure that's not what's wrong with the actual GPU. EDIT: There is also this other thing that everyone thinks is the graphics card, but when I try to update it, neither automatic nor manual updates work for me.
You could try using DDU to take out old drivers, then visit the Nvidia website to put in new ones and check if that fixes it.
it just works fine, but when I tried resetting my BIOS by removing that tiny lithium battery from the motherboard and putting it back in, something went wrong.
Here is what I'm asking: Your computer settings don't show exactly which brand of chip (motherboard) it has, but only that it's an Asus board. Are you able to go into the BIOS menu to pick if you want to use built-in graphics or a separate dedicated graphics card?
