Hello, I saw that the most recent update 22H2 (KB5026446) restores the ability to display seconds on the clock. I just reinstalled my PC but haven’t noticed the option anymore in Personalization > Taskbar. Did they actually reinstate it? Thanks.

Navigate to SYSTEM TASKBAR; the seconds choice is near the bottom of the options menu. Click the small box there and you're set. You may need to scroll down if it's hidden at the end. Be careful and have a good try!

You may have to go further down the page to view it, as it was located beneath the bottom of the screen, requiring a scroll to see it.

You have two options: modify the registry file or turn on automatic updates via Windows Update. A restart might be necessary. Success isn't guaranteed because Microsoft releases features one at a time, and changes can affect users differently depending on their setup.

Appreciate the clarification. It seems the intended meaning is per region. I’ll proceed with that.
I can attempt the regex approach now. The method `ShowSecondsInSystemClock` isn’t available, but I’ll add it manually if needed.

Added a 32-bit DWORD called ShowSecondsInSystemClock with value 1. It displayed seconds right away after the change without needing a restart. Regarding removal, it depends on your use case—consider if it causes conflicts later.

Certainly, you're right. It's likely you'll need to set up the registration entry manually, as it doesn't appear automatically. The settings appear to depend more on your device and its update status than on location.
