I thought one of my partition drives was getting full, so I considered moving my user folders to another drive. However, I mistakenly made one of my user folders the parent folder for where they originally were. Now I’m trying to relocate it but can’t. I received an error message (you can see the picture in the attached files). Please help me. Thank you!

Verify your access rights to relocate that folder. In the previous image, it appears you’re limited to viewing only, so the system will just read the file. Look in the advanced settings for any indication of approval for moving the folder. Additionally, do you have administrative privileges?

Sorry, I’m still having trouble moving the desktop user file. It seems I only need to shift these two files—NTUSER.DAT and Appdata—but I can’t manage them no matter what I try. I even tried enabling safe mode and doing it there, but the issue persists. The error appears in the pictures, and I don’t see the run option as administrator in its properties since it isn’t a program with a shortcut bar. For my last attempt, I booted with shift and restarted; I explored the options and found something... Reset this PC without losing personal data. I clicked that, didn’t close the computer, waited about 40 minutes, and still nothing changed in that user folder except the desktop, which I accidentally moved. Could you help me next?

Thanks a lot for your assistance. I tried it and everything functioned properly. Just deleted all files, and it worked fine. Sorry if it caused any inconvenience—no need to worry, I have the backup ready. See you later!
