It seems better to skip straight to AC2—it's way more enjoyable. Altair didn't act like an assassin; he moved slowly and awkwardly. The first run only takes around 10 hours, so if you have a couple of days off, I just played AC1 and 2. I didn’t have time or interest in another Ass game.
I don't play Mass Effect and it's currently on sale, so I'm trying it out.
It starts slowly at first, perhaps because of the initial learning curve, and it feels a bit outdated. Still, the narrative more than compensates for these issues once you dive in. The second version is outstanding, improving many aspects of the gameplay from the first while excelling in other areas as well. It’s definitely worth the investment—strongly recommended. I’ve played over 30 hours of each title.
