I own a HyperX Kingston 3200mhz model and plan to install it on my PC with a 2666mhz processor. I'm curious if it can actually operate at its original speed of 3200mhz. (I won't push it to that frequency, just checking if it supports it.)

Use CPU-Z in Windows to verify your setup. Launch the program, navigate to the SPD section, and test each stick until you locate one displaying the part number matching your components. Check the XMP profile displayed; it should read "XMP-3200" for a 3200MT/s kit, indicating compatibility. If no such label appears, the device isn't a 3200MT/s model.

It wouldn't be advisable to run the XMP profile because it can cause instability or conflicts with other system settings.

B365 chipset with i5-9400 cannot handle speeds beyond 2666 MT/s, meaning your 3200 MT/s setup won't work. The limit is 2666.
