In November 2021 I purchased Crucial RAM for my 2017 iMac. Recently I faced some computer problems and visited a local Apple Store. They helped me identify two RAM sticks that were faulty. I reached out to New Egg, who suggested contacting Crucial since they would handle the warranty. They sent me an email saying the RAM was fake—the labels didn’t match and it was on another stick. I returned to New Egg, and their records show the item shipped from them but sold by Storage Expert. I’m unsure what to do next or how to proceed. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
They imply the problem lies with Newegg since they sold the product. Check the email exchange between Crucial and Newegg for their response.
I considered it before, but wasn't certain because it came from Newegg but was sold by a third-party seller there. It caught me off guard.
