You're asking if Windows 10 creates separate partitions after a successful installation. Since you're using a dual boot setup, it's likely each OS gets its own partition. When uninstalling Windows 10 from your dual boot, you should be able to keep the Windows 8.1 partitions intact without affecting them. Only one version was created, but you're still receiving the test release. The update will be available soon, and it's currently free for Windows 7, 8, and 10 users.
