I recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 82KU (Ryzen 7 5700U with 12GB RAM, 512MB memory, and integrated graphics). I’m experiencing some unusual problems that seem unique to me. It feels like the GPU isn’t activated, though it’s strange. I suspect the drivers might be faulty. After installing Windows 11, background videos or GPU-intensive tasks cause lag, even when I drag windows around. I ran DDU four times but failed to get a response. Drivers from AMD’s site didn’t help, and the latest Windows update also didn’t resolve it. Some users suggested downgrading to Windows 10, which only made things worse. In the BIOS I set performance mode to HIGH PERFORMANCE with 2GB allocated for my GPU (the default was higher). My laptop has 4GB soldered RAM and an 8GB stick; I’m considering adding a 16GB stick. I’m not sure if that will fix the issue. The CPU appears solid, and I’ve seen people playing games on slower machines. This is unfamiliar territory for me. I’m a skilled tech person who’s built many PCs and understand their quirks, but this is new. All my attempts failed, and I’m hoping someone can assist. If you need help, please let me know—Discord works if you want to chat.

You're highly likely correct—based on my search results, the device appears to rely solely on built-in graphics rather than a dedicated GPU.

It looks like the system has integrated graphics, though I've noticed similar specifications in other videos, which doesn't seem to be a problem.
