You likely have a noisy fan on the GPU or CPU that's rubbing, making the sound louder. Pressing the top of the case can hit the edge, increasing the noise. Try turning off the fans one by one while they spin—like running a benchmark such as Unigine Superposition and then stopping them individually. With today’s hardware, the CPU and GPU quickly reach thermal limits under heavy use, so fans start spinning fast.
