Consider skipping the backup step and just use the USB drive. Also, since you're installing it only on your desktop while having the ISO on your laptop, you might not need to transfer it again.

It's not a backup; they just mentioned burning an ISO file. Tap the USB. Proceed to choosing the USB drive.

There could be an issue. The file was saved correctly, but bootsect couldn't be run to prepare the USB device. For help with bootsect, visit the link provided above.

I don’t need to boot it; if it can’t form a boot sector, it’s likely not functional. Do you have another USB drive available?
