I’m planning to assemble my first PC and discovered a suitable motherboard during Black Week, though it lacks Wi-Fi. It’s mainly for gaming, and I’ll be about 6-8 meters away from my router, with a concrete wall in between. What should I consider while shopping?

Many people near me and I use the TP-LINK 722N. It's very affordable, functions well, and comes ready to use. Anything from TP-LINK should perform nicely. Good luck!

Are you sure about the USB WiFi adapter and draft-N setup in 2023? It’s not typical. WiFi usually doesn’t offer low latency, and most boards don’t have a dedicated PCIe slot.

In 2023 everything is smooth and functions well. People don’t need to disrupt antennas or open cases just for minor advantages—most will be satisfied with a USB WiFi adapter.

The project is starting, and opening the case should happen soon. It seems to have WiFi 4, draft-N, but only 2.4GHz compatibility... Disappointing. If you're looking at a similar price or just a few extra dollars, a WiFi 6/6e PCIe option would be a better choice. And it also includes BT support. I’m not sure where that figure came from.
