I recently discovered an old computer in your grandfather's shed, and he mentioned you can take it because it was a school computer he received after the local school replaced them with newer PCs. It’s a Gigabyte GA-8S650GMX/Intel Celeron 2.4GHz/256Mb DDR model. The issue is that it includes the school's hard drive, which restricts access—only the "student" account works, while "teacher" and "Administrator" are password-protected. I’ve attempted to change or delete the passwords using command prompt in safe mode and the account manager, but I keep getting "Access Denied." I also tried resetting the administrator password with a USB drive and various password removal tools, though they all require paid licenses. I managed to install Windows but only got a USB install manager instead of a bootable drive, which still blocks access. Someone might know about free password removal software or a method to create a 32-bit bootable Windows XP USB. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
