You can check your BIOS settings for options to disable USB power management on your ASRock B550M-C. Look for power management or USB settings within the BIOS interface.

Just while the PC is off, or... just disable all USB ports? There's an option for the former in 80% of BIOSes, an option for the latter in 99% (disable USB controller)
